If you want all email that spam assassin has marked as spam automatically sent to a certain email address follow step 4 above, but instead of entering discard in the Destination field enter the email address you want the spam sent to.
Configuring Spam Assassin
You can configure spam assassin to have the subjects of emails that spam assassin has marked as spam to be rewritten to another subject of your choice. You can aslo configure spam assassin to change the score at which mail will be marked as spam as well as various other options.
Configure Spam Assassin to rewrite the email subject
1. Click on the 'Configure Spam Assassin (required to rewrite subjects button).
2. In the 'rewrite_header subject' field enter what you want the subject to be rewritten as. For example, you could enter *****SPAM***** or whatever you'd prefer. Next click the save button.
Configure the score at which spam assassin marks mail as spam.
1. In the configuration section for spam assassin enter the number at which you would like spam assassin to mark mail as spam in the 'required_score' field. Lower numbers are more aggressive and higher numbers are more conservative. So if you were to enter 1 in this field it could be very aggressive and possibly result in valid email getting marked as spam. The default setting is 5 and you may need to experiment with increasing or decreasing this number depending on what works best for you.
Enabling Spam Box
There's also an option that allows you have all mail marked by spam assassin as spam to be delivered to a separate mail box called 'spam.' To enable the spam box simply hit the 'Enable Spam Box button' in the main Spam Assassin section.
You can check your spam box via IMAP or by accessing your spam folder from your webmail. If you have not created the spam folder in your email, then it should be automatically created for you once you receive the first spam mail.
You can also check it via pop3 by adding /spam to the end of your pop3 login. For example, user@example.com/spam
